A guide to Mizner Park in downtown Boca Raton: hours, free parking, the 4,200-seat amphitheater, the art museum, restaurants and the year's big city events.

Last checked Oct. 8, 2026. Facts come from Mizner Park’s visitor page, the City of Boca Raton’s Mizner Park Amphitheater pages and the other official pages linked below.

Mizner Park is downtown Boca Raton’s open-air center: a long green park with a fountain, lined by shops and restaurants, with the Boca Raton Museum of Art and the city’s amphitheater in the park. It sits on Federal Highway, just north of Palmetto Park Road, and it is where the city holds its biggest community events, from the Holiday Tree Lighting in November to free summer concerts.

The layout

Plaza Real East and West run either side of the central green, which is a city park. Mizner Park says pets are welcome for that reason, backpacks are allowed, and it supports mall walkers since the whole center is outdoors. Public restrooms are on the second and third floors at 433 Plaza Real (Mizner Park FAQs).

The center has stores and restaurants along both sides, and an iPic movie theater (showtimes). The full tenant list is in the Mizner Park directory.

Mizner Park Amphitheater

The city-owned amphitheater, colonnade and concert green hold 4,200 people. It opened in November 2002, and the City of Boca Raton took over its ownership and operations in October 2010. It hosts community events, city events and commercial concerts (amphitheater history). Tickets and the show calendar are on the city’s amphitheater page.

Amphitheater rules for city events: chairs can be rented on site at some events, outside chairs are not allowed at the tree lighting, and one unopened bottle of water per person is permitted, according to the city. For the free summer concerts, outside food, drinks and pets are not allowed, and shows go on rain or shine (Summer in the City).

Boca Raton Museum of Art

The art museum is in Mizner Park, near the amphitheater. During the tree lighting it hosts the selfie photos with Santa. Exhibitions, hours and admission are on the museum’s website.
