Easter 2027 is Sunday, March 28, early this time and right at the end of Palm Beach County’s spring break (March 22-26). Boca Raton’s 2027 egg hunts have not been announced. The city’s 2026 event, an egg dive in a city pool the Sunday before Easter, is below with its 2026 date so you know what to look for. The city’s spring program guide, which lists it, comes out Dec. 1.

Egg hunts

The city’s 2026 Spring Egg Dive was Sunday, March 29, 2026, noon to 2 p.m., at Meadows Park Pool, 1300 NW Eighth St. It was free and open to all ages. Eggs were scattered throughout the pool, children collected eggs from the bottom of the pool and traded them for bigger prizes, and there was face painting and games on deck. 2027 dates are not out yet.

The pool has eight 25-yard lanes, a 3-foot-6-inch shallow end and an ADA lift, according to the city’s Fall 2026 Recreator (PDF).

We found no church or community egg hunt in Boca Raton with 2027 details on its organizer’s page yet. We will add hunts, with dates and ages, as they are posted.

Easter brunch

No Boca Raton restaurant had posted an Easter 2027 brunch when we checked. These restaurants serve brunch every weekend, according to their own websites; Easter menus usually go up in March:

  • American Social, Mizner Park: Saturday and Sunday, 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. (site)
  • Farmer’s Table, 1901 N. Military Trail: Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (site)
  • Tap 42, Boca Center: Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. (site)

Churches post Holy Week and Easter service times on their own websites a few weeks ahead. We will add sunrise and Easter services here as Boca Raton congregations publish them.

What is open

  • City offices and trash pickup: Good Friday (March 26, 2027) and Easter Monday are not on the city’s holiday schedule, so pickup runs as normal.
  • Schools: closed for spring break through Friday, March 26.
  • Beach parks: open; parking needs a permit or daily fee and gatehouses take no cash (beach permits).
