State report card
Florida grades every public school A to F. A school’s grade is the share of possible points it earns on state test results, students’ learning gains and, for middle schools, how many students pass high school courses or industry certifications. The state’s 2026 file sets an A for a middle school at 64% of points or more.
| School year | Grade |
|---|---|
| 2025-26 | A (86% of possible points) |
| 2024-25 | A |
| 2023-24 | A |
From the state’s 2026 school grades file, the share of students scoring on grade level on the state tests in 2025-26:
- English language arts: 90%
- Math: 94%
- Science: 85%
- Social studies: 99%
- Learning gains: 75% in English language arts and 87% in math
- Middle school acceleration: 90%

Admission instead of a zone
The district’s middle school zone maps page says Don Estridge does not have an attendance area and admits students by choice application. Its 2026-27 Choice and In-House Programs guide (PDF) lists one program here, High Technology, which it says “integrates core academic requirements into a challenging and dynamic curriculum” using computers and other technology. The guide says choice seats are assigned by lottery through the online portal at mypbchoiceapp.com, and applicants need a district student ID number. The district posts each year’s application dates on that portal.
Because it has no zone, Don Estridge does not appear in the district’s feeder reports. Families can check their zoned middle school with the district’s Find My School map.
No boundary change affects the school. The School Board’s only rezoning for 2026-27, Boundary Study RB-1, adopted March 11, 2026, covers schools in the Riviera Beach area, according to the district’s enrollment and boundaries page.
